Pit Bulls as pets!

Okay I was listening to the radio the other day and on the Sunday morning talk/call in show they were talking about whether people should own Pit bulls or not.

Now I agree that ANY breed of dog can be aggressive.. But I also think that Pit Bulls have a larger chance of being aggressive just because of their breeding!

And yes while it does depend some on how a dog is treated, it has been show in studies that because of inbreeding, that most Pit Bulls, around the time they turn 7 they go crazy. (This is one of the things they were saying on the radio program, and I have also heard this myself).

I don't think anyone should own a Pit Bull.

New things

Well not much going on lately..

I finished the sample of Tablet weaving to take with me to Coronation.

I got both of my dresses cleaned for Coronation! YAYY

All the critters are good.

A really good friend of mine is having surgery on Thursday and I am worried.

Been working on Spinning and Blackwork, etc..

Other than that, it has been really quiet here.

Things

Well quite a few things have been going on here.

Had to trim up the sheep again, they keep getting into those little bitty burrs! Sigh.

All the other critters are fine though. :)

Been trying to decide what my project is going to be for Queen's Prize in January. I think I am leaning more towards Tablet Weaving right now though. I am going to do an Egyptian Diagonal, similar to my Apprentice Belt, but in different colors!

Also I am going to be learning how to Knit in the round! That ought to be interesting! We shall see how it goes. I am just not sure I can learn fast enough to have a project done by January, not with how my hands are. So I may shoot for something for July.

My blackwork project is almost done! YAYYY.. I am working on the last sleeve of the chemise for a friend of mine! After that I am not sure what my next Blackwork project will be.

My spinning is going well. I am working on spinning several fleeces right now.. I am hoping to get Bert and Ernie's fleeces spun up so I can make something out of them. Whether it be knitting or Tablet Weaving.

Another friend of mine makes pottery, so she is going to make us some more feast gear! We are gonna make a trade, but right now she isn't sure what she wants in trade.. So it may be embroidery or spinning, or something tablet woven! :)

We are also getting ready to go to Nebraska in about two weeks, so I have to get my dress cleaned! eek!

Well several things have gone on and I finally got pics!

First is Spot, our new cat :) She is so cute! She waits for me every morning by the back door!

Next are the boys! I figured I should show everyone how much they have grown out since we sheared them in April! They are already very fluffy!

And here are my geese! They are so neat! They all gather around "the watering hole" as it were. :)

And finally my big news! For my birthday I decided to get personalized "Kingdom of Calontir" license plates for myself! They finally got here yesterday and here they are!

I am so excited! Michael put them on my van for me last night!

And if anyone is wondering My plates mean "Brianna" I just couldn't get the extra A in.. We are only allowed six letters.
